There are 15 Kameo Characters in Mortal Kombat 1, each with their own unique Fatality. They are the secondary helper characters that join you in combat. The required button combinations can be viewed in the move list. Performing at least 10 different Kameo Fatalities unlocks the Annihilation trophy / achievement.
Five of the Kameo characters are unlocked by leveling up the profile level (Scopion, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Shujinko, Motaro). It unlocks a new Kameo every 5 profile levels, with the last one unlocking at Profile Level 25. The other Kameo characters are available from the start.
